COVID-19 Update from Royal Palms Realty
Dear Friends,
We wanted to reach out during this uncertain time to reassure you that Royal Palms Realty is taking the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously, and we are adopting safety precautions to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. Our primary concern in a situation like this is the health and safety of the public, our customers, and our employees.
We are practicing social distancing and avoiding all unnecessary meetings and any group activities. In addition, we are implementing safety precautions for showings when they do occur. We will be requiring buyers and agents to remove their shoes prior to entering our listings and to use hand sanitizer, which we will provide prior to entry. We will also have disinfectant wipes with us and will wipe down door handles, light switches, and any other surfaces touched when we shut down after the showing. Finally, we have suspended all Open Houses and the Key West Association of Realtors has halted all broker caravans until further notice.
In the meantime, we will utilize 3D Virtual Tour technology to help buyers do virtual showings — we have one of these 3D Virtual Tours for each of our listings, and we are proud to offer this option to help buyers and sellers view our listings during this time.
We have several properties that are under contract and we are continuing to work with active buyers, so there is still some movement in the market, even under these conditions. This fortunately will pass and life will eventually get back to normal across the US and the world. The desire to live in the tropical beauty of Key West and the Florida Keys will always be there for those of us that are drawn to living in this beautiful paradise, and that desire will long outlive this virus.
